No one would have guessed that Wayne;
- grew up milking cows everyday
- was a pole vaulter using a bamboo pole, and a gymnast during his high school years
- played trombone in high school, and still has his old trombone
- was a drum major with the U.S. Army band while stationed in Berlin, Germany
- can tell stories about "blow-job" Annie and what soldiers did on their leave time
- was a bearded, long-haired hippy (down to his shoulders long-hair) during the 60s and 70s
- that he danced naked on the Pacific ocean beaches
- owned a purple colored Persian cat, then a pair of Siamese cats when I first met him
- that he loved to skinny dip in our farm pond
- that he does gross party tricks with his eyelids
- that he and I rode over 7,000 miles on a Triumph (650 Bonneville) throughout Europe
- was a Teamster and drove truck in San Francisco
- can whistle Mozart or any other tune beautifully
- that we have been together since the first day we met almost 43 years ago
- that on Wayne's 75th birthday, he was the annual 4th of July tennis tourney winner along with his 81-year old buddy Bob beating out all the younger players!
- TODAY is Wayne's 77th birthday, born July 5, 1935 in Welcome, MN.
- And you would have guessed that he is the greatest father, husband and friend that anyone could have!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY WAYNE!
